Fragments" is a series of photographs made in 2016, in Zagreb (except for one photograph that was made in December of 2015), at places where different human fates intertwine with a wide variety of cables, billboards, railways, traffic lights, street lights and cameras.

I took the photographs through various media, such as glass or dirty plastic, and experimented with glass reflections, which I also used to create double exposure.
These photographs emerged from a sense of frustration and powerlessness against endless impulses that we are bombarded with.

I question the process of surrendering in accepting that which is default, imposed; a sense of illusory freedom in a society of rampant technological progress; alienation, fear, hopelessness and loss that accompany the process of reducing man to a disposable resource in service of "development".
